The Pleasant Home is a National Historic Landmark building, designed in 1897
by noted Prairie School architect, George W. Maher and preserved and operated by
the Pleasant Home Foundation. Situated on seven acres of land, known as Mills
Park, Pleasant Home is a truly magical setting for our annual event.

FREE PARKING is available around Home Avenue, Marion, Lake, Pleasant, and Oak Streets.
METERED PARKING: $1.00 per hour, from 8am–6pm, unlimited. GARAGE PARKING: 1st hour FREE.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The most direct and convenient access is to take either the Chicago-Northwestern
(Metra) or CTA Green Line "L" to the Harlem/Marion station. The Pleasant Home is
3 blocks due south.
Alternately, take the CTA Congress "L" Blue Line to the Oak Park Avenue station.
Take the Oak Park Avenue bus (or catch a Taxi) north to Pleasant Street. Then
walk about two blocks west to Home Avenue.
